Custom Tuned Pipes
With our Custom Tuned Pipes, you can order any set of pitches that you would like! You can order pipes with mounts or just by themselves.
Tuned pipes sound the best within the range of F4-F7. Any higher or lower and the pitch becomes very unclear.
Some composers have written for pipes an octave down from the sounding pitch. For example, sometimes what looks like middle C (C4) on the page would actually sound as C5. Be sure to check on this before placing your order. For reference, the lowest pipe note in David Lang’s “The So-Called Laws of Nature” is F4.

- Foam and foam backer rod create noisy attacks and much less sustain
